I had the same problem today,
I ran avast anti virus boot scan, which takes about 2 hours and it dug 4 trojans out of my p.c.
followed by a registry scan,
and it cured the Data execution problem on ie8.
The funny thing was when I tried to reinstall my McAfee anti virus it came striate back,it would seem McAfee have some explaining to do.

Thanks a buch. This does work and solved the frustrating problem. I can’t believe adobe reader has this kind of issue that they don’t fix. Simple issue can be a lot of bother for many.

Worked for me on a 6180. Slight difference. Holding the OK and Help button while reconnecting the power cable, I held it for about a minute or two. Then the printer just shut itself off while I was holding OK & help down. So I started it up normally. After about 5 minutes of setting itself up, everything back to normal.

Thanks, got the same stupid error but it was fixed after I chose one printer to be default. Really stupid programming from Adobe there.

Devin- R188776 appears to be for “Ricoh R5C847″. Do you have an SD card reader in your computer?
